Defining Neutrality in Transport

The US Auto Transport Observatory was established in 2021 as a direct response to the increasing fragmentation and technological volatility within the American vehicle haulage market. As the industry moved quickly from antiquated manual processes to sophisticated Logistics 4.0 Standards, a gap emerged between high-speed commercial growth and the necessary evolution of safety and data protocols.

Operating out of San Francisco, the Observatory functions as a non-profit, independent analytical body. We serve a diverse Carrier Network—including owner-operators, institutional fleet managers, and lead logistics providers—by offering a neutral baseline for evaluating Transport Management Systems (TMS) and digital interface integrity. We are not a broker, a load board, or a software vendor. This independence is essential to our primary function: the objective research of Commercial Road Transport efficiencies.
